This time the reserves.

Upon finally being reassured that my babies would be okay, I'm now being told that I'm (probably) not deploying. As I have yet to be told the reason for this, especially considering I had a blood test last month, I'm a little disturbed. I'm supposed to find out later why my name was taken off the list.

Wish me luck.

Reserves weekend stretched from two days to three, so it killed my free time a tad.  The reserves honestly weren't that bad.  It was the fact I was doing it with three hours sleep Friday and then five shots in my arms Saturday and Sunday...plus I had to help my uncle at one of his work sites.  All that combined, this weekend sucked.  And then it ( Read more... )

I forgot one thing in yesterday's post: my commanding sergeant constantly forgot my name, so I spent most of yesterday being dubbed ''SGT Porter.'' I was promoted! Whoo!

At Reserves now and waiting for something to do. The person I'm supposed to report to is gone this drill, so I'm mostly floating around this weekend.
