Still hating AA....

I think I'm going to go for that whiter-than-white look. Why? Because I forgot that I rarely just get burnt by the sun; I more often than not get sun poisoning. I'm awesome like that. Ugh.

Does anyone have any suggestions for increasing your energy? I spend most of my time half-asleep. I'm mastering the sleepwalk. It's great. It makes it incredibly ( Read more... )

My diet is generally pretty good. I love fruits and vegetables and I prefer turkeys and such to red meat. I nibble throughout the day...

I fail at short naps. I try, and I can never manage twenty minutes. It's always closer to two to three hours. I have never been able to have a short nap. *sighs*

On the same note, I fail at getting up when I want to. I have a love affair with my snooze. I've even tried to set the alarm on the far side of the room. Nine times out of ten, I will walk up, hit snooze, go back to bed, and not remember a thing. Bah.

If that's the case, I would consider consulting your doctor about it, because it could be a sign of an underlying health issue? Chronic fatigue comes to mind, but fatigue is associated with about 100 or so different health problems, including serious ones like thyroid disease. Not to make you paranoid or anything, but I'm definitely no doctor, and I'm sure your's would know much better than me, what could be causing it. *nodsnods*

I've thought about going to the doctor. There's only one problem: I'm poor as fuck. :( No insurance also sucks.

...with energy levels, I dunno. You strike me as a pretty active person, so the first suggestion of 'get more exercise' is kinda right out. ;p Start with the simple, like making sure you're eating enough of everything? My energy tends to flatline every now and then and I realise it's because I've been living on pasta and takeout for a week...

(If you're a healthy eater and you exercise a lot, I'd actually suggest asking a doctor for advice.)

...Um, writing? You have way improved. Your writing was never bad, but it's so much more polished than it used to be. I read your first chapter rewrite of Never Tear Us Apart, but that was all you'd rewritten (that I could find) so I went hunting online to see if I could find the original. Which I read and liked a bunch, but damn. That one chapter you rewrote has a hell of a lot more of an emotional kick to it.

When I'm not wiped, I exercise. It's easy with Angel around. Otherwise, I just kinda moan and try not to find a good surface to nap on.

*^_^* I glanced at some of my older fics while fixing up my FMA posts and...yeah. Ow. Being told I've improved helps a lot.

I'm horrible at multi-vitamins. I actually have one and iron supplements (I fail at that, too), but I tend to forget to take them. ^^;; Claritin with them, unfortunately. I have nasty allergies.

Water...*coughs* Actually, I'm going to start making a point to drink more water. I tend to rely more on caffeine than water. I...have actually gone a couple days without drinking water. Sad, isn't it?
