Don't turn away

*coughs* I suppose this means I can't harass artimusdin for a while about getting sunburnt. ^^;;; Ah, sunscreen is always a good thing...especially when you are white as a ghost.

Adding insult to injury, my cat proceeded to jump on my scorched leg later. It's amazing how much a cat scratch can bleed.

Ouch ouch ouch ... if you can stomach it later, I recommend a scorching hot shower. Stings like a bitch, but tends to take much of the sting with it when you get out, as it were...

Well, between the unburnt skin, the burnt skin, and my blue shirt, I'm positively patriotic! :D

*sympathy for you*
um. hate to sound like a know-it-all but a scorching hot shower will make the burn worse and take longer to heal... a cold shower would be better plus lots and lots of aloe vera/moisturiser.

I'm putting on aloe vera...whenever I remember? *coughs*

I love the icon! I'm having a problem trying to convince my friends that I've found a tentacle porn pic with good plot and no porn. The icon shows their sentiments exactly.

There seems to be a lot of that going around...I'm slightly scorched myself. Try putting a vinegar and water solution in a spray bottle...about 10% vinegar, and spritzing the burned areas every couple of hours. It makes it feel better, and heal faster.

*shudders* I'm just going to stick with aloe. I hate vinegar. You have absolutely no idea how much I hate the stuff.
