I've been doing some catch-up reading. I recognised the start of this - the bit about Cloud singing (a Queen song too) to drown out Jenova's voice.
The revision seems... neater than the first time I read it, but I don't recall exactly, it was a long time ago (I think I may have found it in that period of hunting for my first FF7 fics, right after I first got into the fandom).

Anyway, this is getting interesting, I'll be quite interested (I swear, that must be my favourite word or something!) to see how Zack and Cloud explain things to everyone else.

I'm happy that the revision is working. ^^ I would be annoyed if I revised it and discovered it was still as messy as the original (something I feared was happening).
