Earlier today on twitter, SuperWiki posted a link to a Japanese "interview" with Jared and Jensen about the anime. It's here.
I just finished translating it, and there's no spoilers.
Hello! It’s Supernatural director T again. A few days ago, I got to go to Vancouver, where Supernatural films, and interview Jared & Jensen! The two of them lined up wearing their black T-shirts like were gorgeous as usual, and I forgot I was here for work and my eyes turned to hearts. Even though the two of them are so busy because they have already started filming Season 6, while they weren’t filming and I was with them I got to see the two of them playing around, laughing at each other’s NG (translator’s note, I’m not sure what this means), and being relaxed and getting along.
Jared & Jensen have actually gotten to see the first episode of the anime, both of them were really excited! Jensen’s really a very different height from him, so Jared was very fascinated that they were drawn as being the same height. As for Season 5, Jared said that in a way it culminates the battle against demons that they’d been waging since Season one. I’m hoping next time I’ll be able to show you some photos and comments I’ve gotten, so look forward to it.. Also, you can rent Season 5 now, and Season 6 is about to start. It looks like a new development is going to affect Sam and Dean. Look forward to it!
