I'm back, but posting privately for the most part. Summer's been great so far. I've got all sorts of crazy projects going at once and, as always, it seems that there are not enough hours in the day to do everything.

My dad just gave me an old behemoth of a truck that I've decided to paint a mural onto. I have to thank harley1456...if I'd never met Al or ( Read more... )

let me know if you might end up seattleways, and/or especially if you might be up in the adirondacks/champlain valley area at some point -- i'm overdue for a visit back home and would love to invite you to stretch yalls legs a bit in one of the most beautiful places in the world; leaf season is a big deal there of course, i think the long V's of migrating birds start then but maybe later too *shrug*. there's gobs of stuff to see & do if one is inclined to wanna pursue that sorta thing, and absolutely no small abundance of bliss in doing none of them :)

Let's definitely talk more about this! If you're planning on going back east sometime in the fall, maybe we could meet up here and then travel together for a bit. You still have my email, right?

I'm at the University of Virginia right now, studying poetry, and I think I owe you and Verian a lot of gratitude for teaching me so much about writing. I don't think I would have ever figured poetry out if I hadn't read your livejournal in a formative stage of my literary development.

Kind of an awkward thank you, but I mean it.

As eloquent a thank you as anyone could ever hope to get, M. I am humbled that I had something to do with your love of words. Thank you.
