That’s great. I just got a CD of their greatest hits this past week. I also think lilyhbp Regulus is great. I also was talking to someone about Regulus, because I think she does a great job with his characterization in her story. Anyway It seems that were on the same wave length here. :)

It seems that I know a few SS/RB shippers, but I am not one of them. I guess is because I like the idea of him and a young woman who will be the future Mrs. Zambini.

Aren't they wonderful. I have actually read several fanfics where I have totally pictured Dave Gahan as my Severus. Yummmeeeeee.

Wrong!!!!! Yes, fantastic song! Have you seen the vid? Totally freaky!!! So many of their songs remind me of Sev. Actually, I tend to be reminded of him with most music I listen to. :P

Regulus. Rawr indeed.

yes yes yes!!! What do you think of the new song? Its a bit strange - growing on me...Even if this album isnt as good as last I'm still going!!! The best part is we can get scalped tickets out here (legally)so we are waiting til concert day because usually you can get better for face value because the damn scalpers take all the good seats to begin with.

We also saw them in Vegas at the Hard Rock, outside in the parking lot. I was honestly 10 feet from the stage. My F'in God, Dave has it going on. Didnt like him much when he was younger but WOW has he matured into a hottie!

Err...steps off psycho DM fangirl soapbox.

*squees at fellow DM fangirl*

OOH! You mean Wrong? I quite like it. Reminds me of some of their old stuff... Violator, maybe. They are still fantastic, after so long!

Yay!!!!! Another friend I can talk DM with! Woohoo!! We bought the i-tunes pass for the new album... my hubby couldn't resist!! Hadn't thought about the scalpers idea. I guess I wanted a sure bet. That's a good idea though! Yes, Dave has matured into a hottie!!!!! I could watch him strut his litte bootay across a stage all night!!! But I still adore Martin's voice! When we saw them last time, in Houston, the people in front of us bummed backstage passes off one of the crew. We were SO JEALOUS!

So what's your fave song? As if that's such an easy question!! Fave album!?!

That actually is a quite hard question. We keep trying to go over our top 10 instead of just one...

I guess I would have to go with "Enjoy the Silence" - it and "Personal Jesus" was when I was introduced to them so I think I have a soft spot for them. Not to say they arent fantastic songs. "Suffer Well", "Lillian", "Judas", "Martyrs", "Strangelove", "Policy of Truth", "Dangerous", "Happiest Girl", "Its No Good"...I could really go on and on. I love their entire catalog - some of the old old stuff (before Martin was writing) aren't my favs because its a bit too poppy and really shows its age.

Violator of course for most favorite album with the last one...(blanking on name)a close second. I love 101 just because its live and has a great selection of songs I love. I love the Remix album too - can listen to that ad nauseum.

And you?

Lillian. Yeah, good choice. And I agree about their older stuff being too poppy. Black Celebration... what's the word... started their foray into the darker, more rock electronic stuff, and has some classics on it. Question of Lust, But Not Tonight.

Violator. Yep. Sweetest Perfection, anyone!?! My second favorite song of theirs!!

I have to say, hands down though, that my favorite song is Home off Ultra. I could listen to it over and over. I don't care for all of Ultra. It has it's good bits, but mostly kind of ... slow. :D

Playing the Angel. Uh-hm. Suffer Well... *nods*

:D
