I just went and checked out Mariah and I love that! Just curious what kind of yarn you're using for it.

I'm using Paton's Classic Wool in a dark charcoal gray. Lots of people complain about Paton's pilling like crazy but I am using it anyway :-) I knit a doll-sized sweater in a gansey construction class with Paton's Classic and the kids use it for their dolls - that thing gets tossed around, stepped on and abused and it's not pilling :-) So we'll see what happens with my sweater...

I like Patons Wool but have never used it for a garment besides scarves. I really like working with it though. I'm going to bookmark that pattern since AC Moore always has Paton's on sale, plus their weekly 40% off coupon. Who knows when I'll get around to it though now that I'm currently hooked on socks!

I love knitting with Paton's. It feels soooo nice. I bought the Paton's for my sweater when it was on sale at AC Moore for $3.74/ball. Can't beat 30 bucks for a sweater!!

Socks rule.
