I finally watched The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I honestly didn't expect much from it, so I shouldn't have been disappointed. I couldn't help the fact that I was kind of hoping to be proved wrong though, because I would honestly have liked to enjoy the movie. And there was disappointment

tumblr is just a giant time suck. you waste a ton of time on it reblogging pretty pictures, inspirational quotes, and badass music. XD i've been on it for like a year and a half and that's all i'm getting out of it. XD

Well, that explains some of my problem, I don't really get pictures and music either. At least not the same way I do written stuff. Ah, well, save me the time I guess. :D

...sometimes I just feel left out, when everyone seems to be talking about stuff on tumblr. :/

i kind of like the fandom side of tumblr, but i really hate reading fanfic on there. idk, you're probably not missing much, tbh.

I gave up on tumblr. Now I only check there if I know there might be cool gifs after an episode or movie. If you don't create gifs yourself, it is a gigantic time waste.

Shame about the Hobbit. I absolutely adored it. Favourite movie of last year I think, though there was stiff competition. But I come from the "hated the book" side, so I had completely different expectations.

I suppose I could create gifs, I mean I do know how to, I've just never really seen the point. :) So, yeah, seems like tumblr just isn't my place.

I really wanted to like the Hobbit. I did love the book, but I haven't read it for ages, and ages, so I don't think it would have that much influence on me. Though of course I mostly thought the LoTR movies were boring, so... But I wanted to like the Hobbit!! Oh, well there's always the fanfic.
