I'm in need of a tea that can serve as a relaxant, sleep aid, or both.

Where would be the best place to locate one? [He knows of the grocery store, but if there's a specialty shop nearby...] I appreciate the help.

shuri, post-draft, doesn't actually completely hate him, being a good team mate

[ he lifts his head slowly at the sound of the knock, rubbing the palms of his hands over his eyes. For a minute he forgets where he is, dazedly glancing around the room once his thoughts move from the battlefield to the source of the knock. the sleep deprivation is not helping is already poor condition. the blonde vaguely remembers switching from his house to the apartment, but not in any detail. it felt like he had simply sat up in his bed and then ended up in this one. he was positive he'd talked to konatsu - or, konatsu had talked to him. but he couldn't remember any of the conversation.

he felt like he was going crazy. no, he was sure he had to be going crazy, after he thought it was snowing in the bedroom. one hundred and fourty four hours without sleep can do weird and awful things to a person ( ... )

[Ah, Konatsu understands.] He was in yuor class in the academy. [It's not a question.]

[ he's too tired to censor himself, or even think too hard about what he's saying. right now he's all bitter and angry and he hates it. ]

Everyone always treated him like he was something special. Like he was more than some dirty slave! Mikage, and Hakuren, they act like he's something important! It's not fair!

[Konatsu seems largely unfazed by Shuri's brief tirade.] Social standing won't protect you in battle. Many slaves can fight more efficiently and effectively than those of higher status. [And Teito has.... something else that makes him significant.]

I don't care. Everyone treated him like he was some sort of king. [ now you're just exaggerating, shuri. ]

[Calmly:] I never observed him receiving that sort of treatment.

You just haven't been around him long enough!

[Sigh.] Would you have preferred you be the one treated like royalty, then?

I wanted to be noticed!

You're not easy to not notice, Oak?

[ his train of thought is gone. ] Not at home! Everyone notices me at home!

Here... they laugh, or they threaten!!

That's to be expected. no one here knows of the Oak family.

So I should get threatened?!

No one should, but everyone is at some point. Back home your status protected you from it, somewhat, but not even that is impenetrable.

There are people who've had to deal with that -- and worse -- every day of their lives. The world isn't a fair place.
