Today I received my information about my interview for Canada and now i know for sure its in August, this is exciting but scary, i mean i am no where near my saving target although i do have the money now to cover my airline ticket and my travel insurance, but its the other money that I need i.e. enough money to live on and not have to worry about ( Read more... )

Wow Canada? That's super exciting! What is it that you do?

I'm dying to emigrate...i have done before but i keep getting thrown back to England! *grumbles*

I work in Customer Service at the moment and thats what i want to continue doing.
I'm hoping i can stay in canada for a while thats the intial plan any way if it come true thats great if not well yeah I'll come back here and try again or go somewhere different

You are stressing too much. You can always just go out there and find a job, they'll hire you eventually. You'll definately want the money to cover the rent for the entire time you're there though cos it's hell expensive...and the wages are shitass in Canada.

Only work for spending money don't rely on it to live cos you won't ever be able to afford to do anything fun like skiing. I went ONCE while in Canada. So not cool.

Passport should be fine :-)

the skiing thing for me should be fine if i getthe job i'm going for because its at a Ski Resort which gives staff free access to the hills on their days off if its not a public holiday or very busy day. I'll also again hopefully get staff accommodation which is cheaper than rent in Canada so alot in contingent on me getting this job.

my passport and visa are really my stressors at the moment but i hopefully will have them both by July so fingers crossed
