Tomohisa loved Jin, he really did, but it wasn't always easy to remember when he was once again stuck tagging along on another one of his dumb adventures. Not that he hadn't had his own share of...ill-thought out plots before, but waiting just outside the offices to ambush their manager because of Jin's crush on him like he was still in grade school was pushing it

Jin always felt better after lunch and he lazily made his way towards the locker room, having left Ryo and Tomohisa in the parking lot arguing over whose who was at fault for the newly acquired scratch on the car. He loped down the hall towards the locker room but stopped short as he spotted Coach Nagase talking with Kamenashi, their backs currently facing him, and he hummed in appreciation as he took in the deliciously tight pants that molded to Kamenashi's body even better than his outfits usually did.

"Nice pants," Jin called as he rapidly zeroed in on his target, but before he could grab a nice, firm handful of pert ass and squeeze Kamenashi had whipped out his ever present clipboard and swatted away the offending hand with a disapproving look from behind a stylish pair of black-framed glasses. Not that Jin minded

It had almost become a ritual of sorts, bugging Kamenashi in his office after the day ended

"Uh, Kamenashi-san..."

Said manager completely ignored Jin as he continued to tell Ryo his schedule for the day, while Tomohisa hovered anxiously in the background but didn't try to intervene. And Jin would usually be sulking about their betrayal or laughing at Ryo for being scolded like a kid for missing more appointments, but even he realized that he'd messed up and it was his problem to fix.

"Kamenashi-san I'm really, really sorry about last time--"

"I'll talk to you later," was his cool reply but his movements were stiff and his shoulders drawn in, belying his tense state.

"But you're going out to dinner with your parents right after practice ends which mean I won't and--" Jin froze, aware that he'd just said something he shouldn't have. Again.

Kamenashi gently closed his binder, taking his time straightening wayward papers before he finally turned to face Jin. "I remember telling Nakamaru and Ueda that, but I certainly don't remember telling you." His eyes narrowed. "Have you been eavesdropping on me

"I--you're right, I probably over reacted," he mumbled, flushing as Ryo and Tomohisa couldn't resist letting out a few catcalls, undeterred by Jin's ineffectual flailing in their direction. Kamenashi collected himself, but instead of reverting to his usual smooth demeanor he gave Jin an embarrassed smile that made his heart flutter. "Well, you've improved a lot since high school anyway, so I suppose I can forgive you this time," he said, looking shyly up at him and Jin just knew he had to be the most beautiful person in the entire world

He lingered outside after practice while everyone else streamed off the field, pestering Coach with any random question that came to mind, all of which were taken in rare good humor though Jin wondered at the knowing smirk. When Coach finally got sick of answering him and booted him back inside Jin meandered slowly towards the locker rooms, and once he got there made sure the coast was clear before finally entering only to find Kamenashi seated in front of his locker. He looked like he'd been there a while

"About how unfair it was that I had all this talent but was forever wasting it, while you would have done everything you could to help us win on the field but your weak body meant it was impossible? I remember, and Kamenashi-san...you have to believe what I say next, okay?" he asked quietly. The look he received was uncertain, as if Kamenashi wanted to but didn't know if he should. But in the end he nodded

Ryo was not a morning person, and the last thing he needed to see when he stumbled in to the locker room the next day was Jin humming a disgustingly cheerful tune as he changed in to his sweats, looking like he'd gotten laid. Which he probably had. Ryo threw murderous looks in his direction as he stalked towards his own locker, scowling as they whizzed harmlessly by
