[#089] YAY. MY LIFE IS BACK!

Jun 18, 2009 00:07

i. As you guys know, I've been complaining about this one cross-stitching project for days on end. (Okay for the past month anyway.) Apparently I've had it for 2 years and only started working on most of it after school finished at the end of May. (What's funny is that I could've totally had it finished back then if I hadn't gotten lazy and not wanted to cross-stitch at the time. lol Instead, I nearly killed my arm doing it in less than a month.) Anyway, it's called "A Season for Everything" and focuses on the four seasons--there's one section for each season and well... I finished 3/4ths of it in the past month. lol I be so lazy.

Anyway, enough rambling!
My mom's camera takes HUGE pictures so I shrunk it down in html, but click on the pictures for the actual size. They're so big that you can see every one of the shitty stitches. O.O lol This was my first time working with stamped cross-stitch and shit, it is a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. It's all because of fabric. (It does look awfully gorgeous though.)

Winter
The last one I did. I love this one mainly because of the snowflakes. I didn't think it'd come out as good as it did.

Autumn
This may be my favorite of the four. *__________* I don't know. Fall's not even my favorite season but all the oranges and reds look so nice. Also, ahaha, I almost messed up at the bridge but luckily I was able to go back in my stitches.

Spring

Summer
The very first corner I did two years ago. Actually turned out better than I thought it had.

All of them together. *________________________* Too bad I'm not keeping this. lol

And there we have it! No more cross-stitching. At least not stamped. I have no more projects though. Wonder if I should convince my mom to go buy a new one this weekend. lol XDDDD

ii. In other news, I finished another drama! This time, Koshonin with Yonekura Ryoko and Shirota Yu. (I like how I put Shirota Yu there as though he's one of the main leads when he's not. lol) Talk about kick-ass. O.O I'm not a huge Yonekura Ryoko fan (more like I really haven't seen much of her stuff) but she was really fucking awesome in this drama. I thought the twist at the end with the Superintendent guy being the cause of everything was totally obvious from the beginning, but I hadn't expected Shirota Yu's Mariya wasn't exactly the person who had caused the crimes but had just taken the fall for them all. That surprised me. Shirota though impressed me with how well he could play off the wall crazy. The way he and Yonekura Ryoko played off each other was just... mind-blowing. Overall, it was a solid watch. It's not going to be one of my favorites but it was a good watch. I walked away satisfied for the most part. (I still don't get Amari's role other than as a push-over. XD Doesn't matter, I suppose. I didn't like his character much anyway.)

I don't know why I felt the need to cap this but I totally felt like these two characters just needed to bang each other after this. XDDDDDDDDD /crude

iii. Apparently, Tamaki Hiroshi and Yoshitaka Yuriko are dating. I think they'd have really hot babies together. XD Ahaha, they're totally not at that point, but seriously. They're hot together. And holy shit to Yoshitaka Yuriko for snagging Tamaki Hiroshi. He needed a little meat on him during Love Shuffle, but fuck, he's really hot. *_______________*

Bonus: So, this is apparently from a Coming Century movie (Coming Century being the younger half of V6--Morita, Miyake and Okada) and I totally want to see it after seeing this clip (even though I'm sure it'll probably be painful to watch XD). But the three guys go to a hotel (guess which kind) and well, for some reason, Okada's character pesters Go's character about kissing someone and then he says he'll teach Go how to kiss. And well... lol Ken mistakenly catches the end of this "lesson." Whoops.
