Ooh, manga! Randomly-- did you really like Paradise Kiss? I'm looking for things to buy and I don't want really fluffy meaningless shoujo, but I've heard Yazawa Ai's stuff is good..

The prospect of Cowboy Bebop going live is... interesting.
I haven't watched that much of it, so maybe I just don't know, but I feel like it spells disaster less than something like, say, Dragonball would.

I actually quite liked it. I don't think it was very much on the fluffy meaningless shoujo side, which is really a good thing. The problem with Yazawa Ai's stuff is that the art for Paradise Kiss is kinda rough. It takes a bit to get used to.

Well yes, true. DB would be LOADS harder, but I feel like... CB had a lot of... idk, underlying something or another that they are so going to translate into ACTIONACTIONACTION. WE LOVE ACTION. lol But I haven't seen CB in ages so I'm speaking out of my ass.

I think the biggest problem with American movies now is that they seem to be made for people with really short attention spans and no appreciation for anything below the surface.
