Hmm, I'm going to say Xander is Nick Fury and Illyria is Thor! And then Mayor Wilkins could be Loki!

I was absolutely thinking Xander for Nick Fury (because I really couldn't say no to the eyepatch), but I hadn't even thought of Illyria for Thor. I was thinking possibly Anya and making demons equatable to Asgardians, but I think Illyria works even better.

This is great - the character parallels are really funny and clever but they really work too. :) OF COURSE the werewolf is the hulk. And Faith is perfect too.

I'm going to say Xander is Coulson and Thor is... Anya? Spike?

Thank you! I'm happy to hear the character parallels work, as I was a little nervous on a couple. And Oz as the Hulk was definitely my favorite, since Oz and Bruce are pretty similar, even before you consider "the other guy." Whedon wrote the characters pretty similarly too, especially in terms of the wolf/Hulk.

Xander's actually Nick Fury, but in terms of Coulson, I was thinking pre-Spike William (because William/Spike is the kind of guy who would collect mint edition Buffy trading cards.) Thor was probably the trickiest, but I was thinking of Anya (which left me stuck on Loki. Maybe Halfrek?), but I love rahirah's suggestion of Illyria.
