He's gay, right? (I've seen one ep, so, you know, not exactly a cross-section nor yet a longitudinal study. But hey, he lives with his mom, who's way cooler than anyone else on the show, and Becket busts his balls three times per ep ( Read more... )

Yer totally ignoring Ryan and Espisito! They are very married, and would probably be open to the idea of a three-way with Rick Castle. I mean, come on, it's Nathian Fillian! I know stright guys who'd go gay for him!

I agree with torra. Ryan and Esposito are the real married couple of this show, no matter what else happens. They are adorable.

Ha, I don't think Castle is gay. He's pretty much a womanizer, two marriages under his belt and all. But it's true that Beckett's the one who has the power in their relationship.

Totally adore Castle, who has some steamy scenes, all with women to date, though, but agree completely with the awesomeness and slashiness of Ryan and Espisito.

I see Castle as more of a metrosexual. I can see him as bi. Failed marriages show he's trying not to be? He does seem rather a submissive type. His mother and daughter order him around and Becket definitely has the power.

In Season 2, Episode 16 there's an interlude set in a "House of Pain." Beckett takes Castle there under the guise of disciplining him so she can investigate. It's very tongue in cheek.
