Even when I quite like games, I do not see the appeal of LiveJournal games. I clicked over to the hospital and farm games and was EASILY UNIMPRESSED and also a bit bored.

I am much more excited about Pokemon. Hurrah!

Hahaha, Jigglypuff is adorable. I loved when she drew mustaches on all the people who fell asleep when she sang. So, basically everyone. Hee!

Oh, Pokemans... I figured I'd get Black since I prefer that game's mascot. But if the games are really different enough I may end up getting both. :B

And I want to use Oshawott and Tepig. I love the piggie~ I didn't care for the other Fire/Fighting mons, so I'd like to raise one. Really I like having a game with starters I, well, like. The Gen 3 and 4 starters were so "eeeeeeh...." for me. Bulbasaur and Cyndaquil have been my favs. Although back in the day Charmander was my bro, since I fell in love with the one in the anime. He was my frist. ;.;

Oh! We should totally use the entralink feature to influence each other's Black City and White Forest, respectively. :>

It took me awhile to decide which version I wanted. There are still a number of Black exclusive pokes that make that version really appealing to me.

I've used Fire starters almost every single time, so Imma change up my gameplay a bit. But I agree, Tepig! I like his character design, and his final evolution is pretty rad, too. Bulbasaur is one of my all-time favorites. And Cyndaquil! I think Cyndaquil has had one of the best starter evo lines that the series has put out to date. High five. 8D

Ah, I didn't even check for all the exclusive Pokemon. I figured I'd just trade for whatever I can't get, anyway.

Charmander and Cynda are the only Fire starters I've chosen. Then it was Chikorita for Crystal, Mudkip, and Turtwig. I did really like Torterra, like a walking bonsai garden Pokemon. But, yeah, Typholsion is boss in my book.

HM, actually the entralink appears to be a local wireless event only? Which kind of sucks. We can still trade Pokemon, though!

I don't know why I kept choosing Fire starters. I guess I always liked their designs better, haha. I traded for a Turtwig since I had chosen Chimchar~ I ended up preferring Turtwig. I took him all the way to the Elite. 8D

I voted Snivy, but I might still get Oshawott. Not decided there. Definitely getting Black, though, since Erin is getting White.

And afaik, you don't have to preorder to get Victini? It's just that there's going to be a wifi event shortly after the game comes out in which you get it. I THINK.

OH, okay, that makes more sense to me. I don't know how the events work though so las;fafj lol. I'm assuming you get some kind of code that enables you to encounter Victini?

I really don't know how it works, either. I have a friend who understands it and she tried to explain it to me. UMM. But it looks like you need a Liberty Pass to get it. Maybe you only can obtain that by pre-ordering? I'M CONFUSED.

The Amazon page offers this explanation: "Order Pokémon - Black Version or Pokémon - White Version and receive your game by April 10th to receive a special Liberty Pass via Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection"... which is really vague to me but OKAY. Maybe additional instruction will come with the game? I have no idea. I should just ask my friend who works at GameStop, fff.

Worst thing about not having a paid account anymore: not having a Pokémon icon on lj anymore ):

I just pre-ordered White today at GameStop - I actually wanted Black because I'm addicted to items and I get less bored battling trainers to level up, but it arrived there early by mistake, and only pre-ordering you could get Celebi, and I wanted that little green creature so bad.
My sister is going to get Black anyways, so we're going to swap as soon as we feel like it, yay :D
My gf totally doesn't get my excitement over getting my first event Pokémon. But! For me, unlucky bastard who can't get the wi-fi connection to work and trade with others, it was really something ♥

I'm still not sure which one I'm getting, I'm usually a grass-starter kind of girl, but fire would maybe be a nice change, don't know, mhhh...

Hahah, right? Picking starters shouldn't be so difficult. Sigh.
