1. I edited an interstitial! It will air on television, even. I was only given fifteen minutes to create the graphics in Photoshop and find background music and EDIT IT ALL TOGETHER before the deadline. I am sure it is more than a bit crap. But hurrah! I edited an interstitial! It will air on television, even ( Read more... )

I was pleasantly surprised when they asked me to edit something, even though it was completely last minute and not a huge undertaking! And no worries, I didn't know what an interstitial was before I started working at the broadcast facility. The one I made was fifteen seconds long. :>

WOO YAY I must be doing something right. Thanks. \o/

I AM. I started watching SGA a couple weeks ago. What I would most like to say is I think that probably I have been MISSING OUT. The characters are awesome and the scenarios are amusing and fun and occasionally REALLY QUITE HILARIOUSLY PREDICTABLE, but not in a way that makes it bad, if that makes sense at all. And fffff, the slash. YEAH I UH went into SGA completely expecting Sheppard/McKay to be my ONE AND ONLY but then I discovered Sheppard is not Paul McGillion, HAA. I actually seem to multi-ship in SGA. I consider this a great blessing.

OH YES, the Chris Judd scene was hilarious! And I love all the scenes with the space opera bits! MAY OUR TRANSMATTER BEAMS CROSS AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. Or whatever Teyla said to warhero Beckett after passionately making out with him ahahahaslkfj.

That's basically the show for you. XD The characters are the show's strongpoint hands down. And nothing else matters.

ARGH yeah I am so sad I got spoiled for that. THIS IS HOW DESPERATELY SEARCHING FOR FANFIC CAN RUIN A PERSON. D: Oh well. I've seen Paul McGillion in interviews with David Hewlett and omg, hilarious. The both of them are just HILARIOUS and hammy and aw, you can totes tell they are such good friends.

McKay/Zelenka, ahahahlkdsfj. I have seen fic floating about for that pairing. Haven't read any of it, but I have been circling the prospect of sneaking a peek at one because the curiosity is kind of starting to kill me, ffff.

Beckett is super great! I am trying to understand what TPTB were thinking when they DID WHAT THEY DID to his character. It feels inappropriate and mostly terrible.

Oh dude, yes yes yes! It's hilarious. See this movie! Love this movie! Because, I mean, you can never not love McGillion calling Hewlett "sweetcheeks."
