1. If you like The Office and Star Trek and Michael being lovely to Ryan, and Dwight being lovely to Science-Fictional Correctness, you should read New Civilisations by spiny. It is perfect the way the Borg would be perfect if they had a sense of humor and breakfast together every morning although I'm not sure what they would possibly eat. Beets. ( Read more... )

It's totally amusing and lovely!

I may or may not have watched The Patriot three or four times a year in middle school of my own volition. I don't remember what was wrong with me to have believed Mel Gibson to be Desirable. I think I've gotten over it.

I'm quite glad Jason Isaacs hasn't gotten over it. Tavington/Benjamin was QUITE SHINY to me, in my youth.

Well, staring is a very fine choice! I judge you favorably for your Karl Urban appreciation.

Seriously! Whose terrible idea was it to EXCLUDE the hate sex! That was quite unkind.

PS: I received your postcard! I think it was your postcard. There wasn't any name but the handwriting looked like yours so I am just going to believe it. Thank you!

Don't think I didn't notice some southern hemispheric homo sapien theme going on! nescienx July 5 2009, 11:26:40 UTC
I know. Think of all the goodness in the world if that was so in The Matrix, Indiana Jones and every other epic movie?

Sometimes I get carried away and forget myself. :D; My name too, it seems.

Haha! The answer here is that I should clearly move to Australia tinted_glass July 5 2009, 19:02:13 UTC
There would be so much goodness. I think the hippies had it only half right re: "make love, not war." Make love AND war. This is the path to FULLY SATING all the tension. Sexual, political, and otherwise. :>

It is only important that in the end you remember yourself. ;) Thanks again. I hope you had a lovely, lovely trip!

I haven't seen the Patriot, but I do feel ashamed I've seen Independence Day. Either way, happy 4th of July!

PS. Cool icon!

The Patriot is a bit long and historically inaccurate but I've always thought the story is emotionally moving, at any rate. I cry every time I watch it hahahasdlkf. And, Independence Day! It is Entertaining. I quite like that the 4th of July becomes the day of deliverance for the entire world in Independence Day. It's just a shame that Will Smith and Randy Quaid and Jeff Goldblum cannot SAVE THE INTERNATIONAL ECONOMY in much the same way.

ACTUALLY I THINK GQMFS ARE HORRIBLY ANNOYING but Q himself has a penchant to act Abrasively and appear WHEREVER HE PLEASES. I really could not resist.

That Office fic was so cute, and it's exactly what Ryan needed. Who wouldn't love that the next morning?

I was trying to come up with someone who would hate it but I think that person doesn't ACTUALLY EXIST. In my universe. Bueno! The fic is really adorable. I am ever so pleased she wrote it, and that you enjoyed it as well. :>
