i really need to get a digital camera in the worst way. but, yeah, blue and black extensions. they're awesome and they still kinda hurt. but it's well worth it. so far the only negative feedback i've gotten has been from a 7 year old.

Well...that's a 7 year old. I wouldn't take it too much to heart. Lol.

And reading below...I had cornrows years ago when holiday-ing in Jamaica - I hated them on me. So damn uncomfortable to sleep in. But my mum had them too and they really suited her, so yeah... How long did it take them to do? I think it took about 3 hours to manage all my hair. Meh. I'm crap when it comes to sitting still, too.

Mmm...somewhere betw 4 and 4.5 hours. I'm not really sure when I got there. Sometime after 9:30 for sure. I was there until 2 a.m.-ish!

Do the extensions match your eyes? It sounds very exciting, is there much maintenance involved?

Well my eyes are a definite nearly-black brown, so that'd be a no. And it's not a lot of upkeep for the most part. Box braids can be worn like regular hair and treated like regular hair too depending on how big or small the braids are. I have cornrows and...I'm not really sure exactly what to do with them. I've never had a head full of cornrows. Right now I'm just waiting for it to stop hurting.

Of course when I googled "blue cornrows" I got bad pictures of wanna be athletes and literal rows of corn. ...And one nice picture of Michael Ealy
