Holy crap, ya'll. It's yuletide again! My mostly dead fandom-journal gets its yearly kick in the pants!

Is anyone who's left my f-list participating this year? I'm always astounded by the sheer number of fandoms, and how many of them cross my own fannish lists.

Oh, sign-ups close at about 2pm EST on this Sunday, Oct 26 (or 6pm UTC).

Welcome to yuletide! We have pie. Actually, I think it's candy instead of baked goods.

I don't think any of our fandoms cross, although I am now inclined to either request or offer for Secret Garden. The fandom always generates beautiful stories.

So far I'm requesting for Eureka, My Secret Identity, Mansfield Park (Jane Austen) and Fall of Ile-Rien (Martha Wells). I'm offering for Everybody Hates Chris, Troubled Waters (Sharon Shinn), Twelve Houses (Sharon Shinn) and...I'm stuck on the 4th. I have a list 3 long-sticky pages long that I have to cull.

Thanks! And no, no crossing fandoms, but I'm glad to hear that Secret Garden usually gets good results.

I've just expanded my requests and my offers...and still no crossing, go figure.

Yes, I'm starting to think that SG's yuletide fandom is made of history buffs. Good stuff always comes out of the Secret Garden people.
