Things learned in November/December

I started out quite well in November and then... everything stopped and I even forgot to make a post at the end of the month. Oops.

So here are the 13 things I wrote down in November and December.

That traffic light is interesting and kinda confusing.

There are some really cheap-looking, ugly Schwibbögen out there. I suppose only the real handcrafted ones are pretty.

I find that traffic light very confusing, too. Although the fact that you can tell how long it'll take until it turns green again is useful.

I did not know that about the weird traffic light (and I don't see how it's very useful XD)

a Schwibbogen (same word in English and German) is an ornamental candle holder in the form of an arc

Huh! I've never seen that used as an English word, but then I don't know what I would call a candelabra thing like that...

I still find joy in learning new things, but writing them down feels like a chore.

I reached a point exactly like that after doing it for a year, following your example (so am very impressed you've kept it up as long as you have!) I found that the habit of "ooh, I learned a thing!" stayed on even after I stopped formally logging them. Of course, I have no lasting record of that anymore, just five million open tabs that show where I found the info XD
