9 Heroes/Villains icons for somein30

The theme for somein30's October challenge was "Heroes vs. Villains", and it took me the longest time to find inspiration for it, since I'm not into super heroes/Marvel/comics. But then I realized I was looking at it too narrowly. The extra hard mode allows free interpretations of the theme, and I decided to make icons of people who are villains and heroes

These are utterly lovely , especially the way you've done split screen to show the latent duality of the characters , particularly in the 1st three icons .

Omg I love your interpretations and the fact that someone went for extra hard which I didn't expect. This was never meant to be just classic superheroes even for normal and hard mode, but the fact that you chose extra hard is just super cool cause it brought out these amazing concepts and compositions! I'm so glad that the free set size is proving to come in handy - super happy that you entered these 9

Thank you so much! I had to go for extra hard, because I don't really watch shows with a clear idea who are the heroes and who are the villains, and I didn't know what to icon for the other two modes. :D

I don't think I could make that work even in one icon, it's so hard to pull off. Damn you must have spent an eternity looking for the perfect caps for all of these icons, but it paid off cause everything is just seamless.

Thank you! It was a lot of fun! I have a ton of caps from everything I watch, so it was possible to find matching ones in a reasonable time.

Thank you! It was challenging, but I have enough caps of everything to make it happen. And the "combination coloring" was a lot of fun to do.
