I think for the meatier character stuff you have to wait for seasons 3/4/5 (particularly five where there's lot of character stuff). And I find it interesting that you think there's no relationship potential for anyone, the general fandom consensus is that they're all at it like rabbits ::g::
CSI is a show where one day you realize you've fallen in love with it. You don't know how it happened, or why, but suddenly you know episode names and are quoting Grissom-isms. Hee. I'm so glad you like Sara as well (my personal favourite character), she's not a fandom favourite especially with some of the Catherine/Grissom people. I love her because like you she reminds me a lot of what I can be like.
Hi Ash! I've seen you around, thanks for stopping by! Especially since noone on my flist seems remotely interested in what I have to say about CSI. :)

Wow, nice. I am now at 2x14 (didn't take me long, did it? ;)), and I still think there is hardly any evidence for ships at all so far. The characters are all good buddies instead, and that has its own attraction. But I like my shows to focus on the relationships, not having to invent them myself. I'm glad to hear that there's stuff coming up. I'm currently trying (sucessfully, phew) to get my hands on season 3 and 4.
And I find it interesting that you think there's no relationship potential for anyone, the general fandom consensus is that they're all at it like rabbits ::g::Hmm, that was my impression after the first ten episodes or so. :) But I have to admit, it hasn't changed all that much. Rabbits? Don't see them. ;) But a show like this probably
( ... )
I don't know how out of order your box set is, but I know that the one you buy in North America is slightly out of order. Episode 102 comes somewhere around ep. 115 (I can't remember exactly and I don't have the box set handy as I'm at work). I know they did that because they put the ep's on the dvd's in the same order that they originally aired in.
I'm betting yours is worse though. It sucks that episodes are missing too... Did you manage to find out which ones you didn't get?
I know that the one you buy in North America is slightly out of order Oh, I didn't know that. Having 1.02 so late really sucks, too.
I'm betting yours is worse though. I noticed when the pilot came up as the eighth episode or so. Sara arrived and I was all 'WTF?'. Hardly any of them are in their original place. :(
Did you manage to find out which ones you didn't get? Yes, I did manage to find out which episodes are which and which ones were missing. On the first box, the last two were missing, and on the second box numbers 20 and 21. Not that there was any regularity to it...
The first thing I did was download all the transcripts and then compare from there. I managed to get the missing episodes from a friend, so I'm not missing any now. Although I think I never watched one of them, near the end of season one. 1.21, I think. Gonna get around to it eventually. :)
Yeah. :)) I really have no right to complain whatsoever.
And I would have brought more if I hadn't been afraid of being held up at customs. I had 6 DVD boxes with me as it was. (tv show freak anyone? :)) And they really were all for myself. Watched them all in the course of three months, too. :)
And now I'm thinking about how to 'get rid' of them, because I'd have a bad conscience taking money for them from anyone. Maybe I could donate them somewhere. :)
