May and June Icon Drop

Well, mostly May, since I made barely any icons in June. June (and July) are always the busiest months of the year for me, so I dialed back on making icons.

Still, quite a few piled up since April anyway. :D Enjoy!

Argh, don't tell me that! *g* I'm really trying my best to stay away from Dreamwidth. I've chased fandom through so many platforms, I'm sort of burned out on the whole thing.

It's not like dw has much fannish content at all (although I am very happy with the way the iconmaker community is shaping up).

That timeless comm has some posts keeping me up to date with tumblr, and they're trying to keep fannish activity going with regular prompts which I can also answer with icons, so yay. But otherwise, there's nothing you're missing if you don't come over there.

The Moana icons are so beautiful! I love the text on 22 and the muted colours of 27, and 23 was one of my favourites from the whole round. Also LOVED the colouring of 11! It was so hard to vote in that final round before final three, your close crop of Gamora is stunning. Love the Friends icons too! Lovely colours and text work, also loving 62 and 63!

I am not a fan of the standard lims format, but it does bring out my motivation to really put my best into every single icon, and it shows. I'm very happy you like 11, it's one of my personal faves.

I understand I got thrown out with the Gamora close up - I totally agreed it was the worst of the lot, and the critique is spot on. I changed the crop midway through and lost a lot of quality that way. I never do that, but it really wasn't my month last month and I was too lazy to start over.

63 was for oddlyspecificon - the first time my icon wasn't guessed. (I only made the one, so I guess it was difficult.)
