August and September Challenge Icons

Fandoms include Alias, Buffy, Farscape, Leverage, The Librarians, Lord of the Rings, Lucifer, SPN, etc.

(The second one was pure luck that I didn't get voted off for it :), and the fourth one was horribly hard to work with and I'm surprised there's anything visible on it at all. ;))

I'm so bad at black and white. :D With the turbo rumble icon, I forced myself to make it black and white because I wanted to get that chess feel. Given a choice, I'll always make them as vibrant as possible. ;)

Thank you! I was pretty unhappy with 29 because it just wouldn't get clean and sharp. It was either blurry or pixelated. *sigh* I made it for oddlyspecificon, but think I ended up not entering it.

#29 doesn't look blurry or pixelated on my screen at all! I love the soft focus of it. :) It's funny when something you think doesn't work at all, appeals so much to someone else!

I also love your use of negative space in your icons in general. The shadows around your subject(s) are fantastic.
