I really like 2! The muted colors and use of negative space are great. The crop and lighting of 18 is also pretty, just like the style of 19 :)

I'm not 100% happy with 2, I somehow wanted the text to be different, but whatever I tried it was always unreadable, so I ended up with this huge one. ;)

I'm glad you like 18, dark icons are always really hard for me.

19 is one of the "leftovers" from when I tried that "color the background" style. I like it, it's an easy style for me. But I fought with the text on that one, too.

I'm in awe of your composition skills! Love 20. It caught my eye right away! The negative space is amazing and the text work even more so. Fabulous icon! Icons 4 and 8 are also really great. Love the muted colouring in them and in 8, I really love how you replaced the subject's head with paint spatters. Very cool idea! Love the dark moodiness of icon 12 and the tiny text. The crop also is really cool! And finally, I really love icons 16 and 17. The colouring is great and I love the shadows in the both the icons.

Great job on this set. You've showcased a really nice variety of styles! :D

Thanks! Lack of styles is not my problem - I rather think I have too many of them and can't do any of them really well. :) But I'm trying to see the positive sides and make the best of my flightiness. :D

I put a lot of work into it, since I was planning to use that one as a userpic. I had a discussion with Kim this month where I joked that I'm "high maintenance" (because simple challenges are too simple and hard ones are too hard ;)), but I don't have an icon for it. She suggested making a text only icon and the "text" theme screamed for me to use it for that. So, yay, I have a new userpic

I love these, especially the iZombie ones. Love the use of negative space, the muted colors and the geometric aspect of the 1st, 2nd and 4th icons on the fourth row.
