Ich weiß ja nicht wie Du guckst, aber ich gucke gerne mit Untertiteln. Seit ich SRT-Dateien entdeckt habe, macht es wirklich viel mehr Spaß (ich hatte mit der "Single Father" Serie Probleme - David Tennant hab ich ja noch verstanden, aber die Kinder hatten alle einen total schottischen Akzent und da hat mir jemand die Untertitel empfohlen. Und grade der Doctor oder Sherlock, wenn die einmal so schnell loslegen, da kommt man ja nicht hinterher.
Und das Argument "Dann liest man dauernd und guckt gar nicht richtig hin" zählt nicht, da ich ja Episoden sowieso mehrmals gucke, und dann kann man sie immer noch abstellen.
Also, wenn Du da mehr Erklärungen dazu brauchst, dann helfe ich gern!

Hee. Na dann kann ich ja nichts mehr sagen. Für mich sind Untertitel nur der aller-allerletzte Ausweg, wenn's wirklich gar nicht anders geht. Ich mag sie einfach ueberhaupt nicht. Aber ich schaue auch fast alles nur einmal an. (Wenn man mal die recht junge Tradition des watch-alongs ausser acht laesst.) Es gibt so viel Zeug zum Anschauen, und ich hab eh viel zu wenig Zeit, d.h. ich kucke wirklich fast nie irgendwas an, was ich schon gesehen habe.

You need to watch number 7 at least yet. It has lots of Jack and the old Torchwood feel (it's set in the past), and Angelo was the best that came out of the series. But the end of the series felt like a B-movie *shudder*

TBH, I do not watch German TV anymore *at all*. Part of it is that I hate dubbing, but part of it is also the commercial breaks and the timing. I'm never home when stuff is on and I don't keep up with the schedules. I keep up with the US schedules just fine, though, so... ;).
I thought I'd never see the actor again.
That has happened to me, too. I tend to follow my favorites around. I don't know that I have come back to a fandom per se, though. I've never been a Sherlock fan before, and Sherlock Holmes is really one of the few that has existed long enough. Well... maybe Battlestar Galactica. That counts, right?
