Oh--this is totally shipping Gary/Rachel. I guess this is really pre-ship? Because I'm not sure they know what they're feeling for each other yet.

I'm glad the voices sound true to you. The actors are defining the characters quite well, so I'm trying to do that some kind of justice. And you can add my work to that thread all you like!

Oh, thanks! And, yes, Gary-in-peril is fun. He's one of those characters that you just know will get abused by fangirls. I can't explain it so I'm just going with it.

I'm here belatedly; but I agree! I came to look for Alphas fanfiction specifically to find Gary-in-peril fics! Can't wait to start writing some (need to finish a Misfits hurt/comfort fic first!)

A wonderful story, and a great sense of both of the character's voices. I love all the visceral details - Gary's hand trembling, and the air tasting 'wrong.' Such a great fic!
