Seeing David feeling overwhelmed by his past coming back to haunt him. He desperately needs his lifeline and he finds it in her arrival. Everything just fades away quickly... She's all he needs in his life to anchor him,to save him. Love it!

I couldn't go to bed without reading this.
Can't wait for more.

this has so far been one of my favorite updates to write. Something about this party scene just struck me as a great way to show him in turmoil. Kinda like...gamblers at casinos. I'm so glad it came across that way!

It's so painful as you grow into the adult you so want to be and David is having growing pains that's for sure. He almost lost it but his own Princess in shining armor came in and threw him a saving smile. He is learning.

I love this prequel so much.

I know. The growing pains is tough. I think it's especially hard for the people who grew up in pretty normal (by non-celeb standards) environments and then come of age in hollywood. There is a lot of parties and drinking and temptation and that's a hard thing to grapple with, I think. I really like to show that it's not just him....you know? He has enablers. The whole town is like one giant enabler.

Emily wont always be his princess in shining armor. There will be parts of this story where you (hopefully) will be able to see a bit of turmoil inside both of them.

This was an excellent update. Obviously he isn't going to grow up over night, but he's still trying. And it's quite interesting in seeing the parallels in self-destructive behavior that simply fade away in Emily's/Brennan's company!;) Thanks for the new chapter!
