This is as close to flying as I can get at ground level. I love the car, all 144,000 miles. It's my business vehicle! From one dialysis unit to another, 120 miles yesterday, 5 hours in the car makes this crazy medical practice very worthwhile. The car is a total pleasure, until maintenance time comes, or tire replacement, when reality strikes. As long as I work, I can afford it. It is my equivalent of a Spitfire, and actually has half the hosrsepower of the Spitfire prototype.... and weighs less! 571 HP! No cannons or Brownings.... just stickers and a flag!
I've delayed my rounds on this wonderful Sunday, to read the Register and the Times, and watch the first half of yesterday's great game for a second time. Just as delicious!
All week long, I wore my Bruin tie. All week long, I wore my Bruin tee shirt! All week long, my Porsche lurched through freeway traffic with this Bruin flag dangling in the breeze. The world will just have to put up with another week of this jubilation!
GO BRUINS! And what if the men's soccer team beats UCSB to win the NCAA soccer championship? And Bruin basketball under Howland is now an insufferable NUMBER ONE! Great time to be BLUE!

Sadly, the Bruin soccer team went into the game thinking they could go through the motions and lost to the Gauchos who came out of nowehere! This will delight my son-in-law, Peter, and daughter, Becky, who are Goucho alumns.
