Lin and I arrived at JAX where Fareed, our doctor friend, picked us up in his 4-door Ford Pickup, with Harley-Davidson logos on the side. The luggage, 2 suitcases, a foldover suit container, my backpack and Lin's polkadot roll on travel case, all fit inside the rear compartment, along with Lin. Arquilla? Any relation to Ed & MV?

Michael Arquilla is the son of Edward Arquilla, a professor of pathology at USC, I believe. I don't know what MV refers to.

Hmm. My family were good friends with another while my dad was on sabbatical in Oxford, when I was a kid. I remember the parent's names, Ed and MV. They were from Irvine. We lost touch years ago. I can't remember if they had a son named Michael since I was only really friends with their youngest, Cathy. I'd meet her at her house and walk to school with her--Ed would answer the door in his bathrobe. Such a great guy--what a small world if they were one and the same!
