There's a positive side to going through an extended period of trauma and a breakdown; that is, you come across things you have no recollection of having acquired. I have a huge collection of kitschy paperbacks, and though I mainly liked to collect '60s smut and Powers covers, I apparently have a substantial amount of cheese as well, exempli gratia ( Read more... )

I, for one, would love to hear a quote or two from the Fonz. There is so much he has to teach us.

I had cheese, too, but the cheese is mostly gone. That is the way of cheese. I had several Star Trek photonovels and a thick paperback book about the Making of 2001: A Space Odyssey. My Batman, Partridge Family and Planet of the Ape trading cards are gone too.

Luckily I still have my Blondie and Alien photobooks...
