Forgive the pity party

I am so miserably sick right now.  I need someone to take care of me.  Since I can't take any medications or herbal supplements, I worry that I'm not getting any better.

Suck! I hope you're at least getting plenty of fluids and rest.

Thank you. Getting the fluids but the coughing is much worse when I lie down so sleeping is difficult. (I've never been able to sleep at an angle)

Going to call the doctor this morning to see if there is anything else I can take.

Would you maybe be able to use an inhaler, at least? I was surprised to learn how much that can help with a congestion-type cough.

I looked it up and I can't take any of the ingredients in inhalers either. :( Thank you, though, I didn't think about inhalers.

The good news (maybe) is that the doctor told me I can use Tylenol Cold. So, I've taken 1/2 dose of that today. Let's hope it does something.
