I've decided I want to apply for the FBI.  I have two obstacles: the physical and the age requirement.  The physical is as follows:

In order to pass the Physical Fitness Test, applicants must achieve a minimum cumulative score of twelve points with at least one point in each of the four events:

Ugh. "Apply to the FBI" had been on my to-do list, as well. I even started training toward the physical at one point. Can't imagine I have a shot with the resume I have now, though.

I do remember reading somewhere that they don't expect recruits to pass the PFT initially, but that they will make sure they pass it before too long.

Yeah, they allow you to fail twice before they reject you; however, there are minimum wait times before you can retest. With the time limitations already, I would hate to fail and then run out of time.

Heck, I'd hate to apply and get ultimately rejected for failing the PFT.

I noticed I also have to start wearing contacts now to pass the vision requirements.

But, I am pretty confident I can pass the hearing test. :)

Of course, in reality, this may all be a pipe dream. Home ownership will make relocating difficult and with this becoming a one income household in August, I don't know if I can take the pay cut.
