*Frustration*

I am so incredibly bored with my job these days! I've been playing catch-up since October, which means nothing but invoicing, invoicing, invoicing all day every day. I've been taking work home with me, since I leave early in the afternoons to beat traffic, which means even my free time isn't free, and I'm bored to tears with this stupid, unending, ( Read more... )

A honeymoon is a great thing to have to look forward to :) Where are you going?

We're going with Nyhavn Rejser to Tobago in the Caribbean for 9 days. They're calling it "a culinary journey." I'm guessing because it includes a three-course meal at the hotel restaurant, as well as a meal at a restaurant called Tree House, which I think is actually IN a tree house? And a visit to a cocoa plantation.

We'll be staying at a small boutique hotel with a private beach and one of those pools that seem to stretch into the horizon. I can't freakin' wait!

We've splurged because we haven't actually been on vacation in two years, plus we wished for gift cards for our wedding, so we had some help. :)

Here, have a link:

Hehe, tak! Godt ord. :)

Til gengæld har du jo et spritnyt hus at nyde. Ikke heeelt det samme som en Rum Punch under et palmetræ, men stadig dejligt. :)

I can definitely relate to the bored to tears problem. Good luck!

I read the comments above and Tobago sounds like a wonderful destination for a honeymoon :)

Just one month left, you can do it!

Thanks, sweetie. Problem is, I have to be 100% caught up and *On It* by the time we leave. I can do it, but it just suuuucks. I want to take a day and just... not deal with it. But that certainly doesn't get things done.

I am, however, ridiculously excited about Tobago! The Caribbean is one of my all time favorite destinations in this world, and if I could, I'd visit every last little island. As far as I'm concerned, a Caribbean Rum Punch is akin to nectar of the gods.

If you and Roel want suggestions on where to go for your honeymoon, let me know. :)

We're leaving on March 4th. I can't wait. I've already booked airport parking and an airport lounge for the return trip. All I have left to do is to check up on travel insurance, and to make extra doubly sure that we don't need visas or something crazy like that. :)

I'm doing better - I finally finished the worst of the grunt work in a mad sprint yesterday. Now all I have to do is catch up on January 2013 and keep up with February, so I should be ok in time for the honeymoon.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'll tell you one thing: I'm never changing invoicing systems and getting married in the same year ever again. :)
