A long one about this and that

I can't believe how quickly this week flew by. I spent the entire last Monday sleeping and I've been working ever since. It's taken me the better part of today just catching up with my flist. Y'know, in between naps. I promise to try to comment on as much as possible tomorrow.

So the boss and I talked it out. We agreed that there were faults on ( Read more... )

I mean, is all logical sense surgically removed from you before you can get a cab license? I stagger into a taxi at 4am obviously massively intoxicated and you ask me if I'm going home to my husband and kids? Yeah, cuz that's the kind of mom I am. Or rather, would be. OMG. I almost peed my pants reading that ( ... )

Mighty Jesse - ever the optimist. :)

But thanks, that's a good suggestion. I'll try to use that next time. Thing is, stumbling into that taxi I probably did look like I needed help and that does reduce the effect slightly...

Now I just need to find my husband a name that makes him sound like he can punch people really hard. Any suggestions? And don't say 'Logan' because that's a reference that's only glaringly obvious to us fangirls.

*lol* How about Victor? Last name 'Creed' :P

Isabella & the subconscious desires... anonymous July 5 2006, 13:12:53 UTC
Back story: I originally posted this comment yesterday, but Tink made a whoopsie and accidentally deleted it, though the distance from enter to delete on the keyboard is tiny, I think something bigger is at stake. Sing it with me "repressing subconscious desires are baaaaaad":

"And 'Isabella?' I have NO idea where that name came from; it was randomly plucked from my alcohol-addled brain."

You do know an Isabella. My almost-brother Nils' daughter is named Isabella. Methinks that your subconscious is trying to tell you something... he is single and you've met several times. Why chose her name? Because your maternal instincts are trying to claw their way out of your alcohol-numbed subconscious, telling you that your real desire for this world is an apron, white picket fence & well behaved children saying "Golly". He is part of the possible package... he already has a child... catch my drift? Only saying this because I know you so very well and can totally pick up on your desires... even before you can.

Alex.
