awwww, this was really sweet. I love how Merlin realized Arthur was a nice guy who tended to be a dick at times instead of a dick who could be nice.

Also the ending! I'd usually want a lot more pining and angst with Merlin thinking it was all a fling and cursing Arthur for playing him and everything, but this ended great just as it did. Awesome!

I pondered making a chaptered story out of it where I'd have a lot more angst towards the end (I just really like angst, okay xD) and then a reunion and yay everyone's happy, but in the end I just decided to make it all happy and fluffy. Also, I'm in the middle of writing sth else so a chaptered story would be unwise.

Thank you! :D I was going to end it on the plane actually, because it was supposed to be all about the accidental meeting, airport, yadda yadda, but I made the mistake of having a shower before I finished writing, and that's how the snippets in the end were born xD I wanted them there because they fit into the story, but I didn't want them too detailed because they'd turn into chapters. I might eventually some day work on at least one of them and write a separate story that will have more details. Probably not, though xD

Oh, god, I am! -is nursing a cup of coffee right now even though it's 2am- Am also in the same situation as Merlin was in this story - Starbucks is much too expensive for me, even though it tastes awesome. But we don't have it in my country, so I always visit it at least once when I go abroad. Because, well, if I only get a chance once or twice a year, may as well use it xD I mean, I've gone without coffee for weeks on end when I had no other choice, but I love it and when I can have it, I do. A lot. Man, my ranting is giving new meaning to bonding over coffee xD

Ah, I appreciate any and all comments I get and make a point of answering each of them (albeit not very creatively, I feel). It makes me especially giddy when I notice someone commenting on more than one story I wrote, kinda makes me feel like they didn't, you know, get here by accident xD I am also especially fond of friendly and long comments and then I get to answer them with hopefully friendly and long replies as well and have actual conversations and bonding and whatnot, I am a terrible sap like that
