Sleepy Hollow 1x01 - Pilot

It's been a long while since I've actually written my a review/my random thoughts on a new show. Honestly, I hadn't intended on writing anything after watching Sleepy Hollow either, but there I was in the middle of the episode pressing pause so I could run and grab a notebook.

At first I wasn't sure what to make of the show, was it going to be like the Tim Burton film where Ichabod is a complete wuss but a superb detective

I thought about what you'd said about the historical inaccuracies. I've done a little bit of reading on the Salem Witch trials, but I guess not enough that that detail stuck out to me enough to annoy me until you mentioned something.

After seeing this past episode though I think that it was probably done on purpose. It's a lot more cinematic and visual to have a ashen burnt witch roaming the streets of Sleepy Hollow killing people. That was my opinion, so I'm not sure if that explanation works for you, lol. : )
