We went to a jewelry making company (part of the city tour) and the things are I saw there are pretty weird and fun. I don't have enough Chinese-ness to think they're um, typical. I mean rotating fans for pendants? xDDD

Ze Pandas are one of the highlights of Ocean Park ahahha They're rock stars, I tell you! xDDDD

Hong Kong really changed a lot since I last visited...For one thing, they didn't use to have English translation on the signs (and for over half of them I don't know what are they trying to say without reading the Chinese below pfft. xD). "Quality" could be a brand, or it could simply mean high-quality cleaning. And Octopus is those bus prepaid cards that everyone has. Weird name, I know. xD; Fairy Mice is a random dessert that you won't know what it is until you order it. Maybe some kind of mouse-shaped pudding...hmm.

Are you sure that thing is 136,000 HKD? Because that's freaking expensive even for...pure gold o__O;;; Man, I wish I'm that rich.

And EEEEEEEEEE PANDAS ♥♥♥

Ahahaha very enlightening comment! The English signs helped mostly because of the pictures that accompany it. xD We have this misconception that everybody speaks English in HK so it's not a scary country to visit [UM LOL]. It's not a scary country to visit, but LOL we learned the hard way when some of the hotel staff couldn't even speak English.

I question the knowledge of naming your brand after an octopus, but hey that's HK. It stopped being strange after we ate at "Cafe de Coral". 8D

LOOOOOOL I didn't even know what to think. I thought it could have been real field mice. xDDD

Um, yes it's 136k HKD. *is looking at the hi-res version of the pic* 136,600 HKD to be exact. D: There's a gold figurine of Mickey and Minnie sold for 190,200 HKD. :| Man, I know I don't go to Disney to buy these, but apparently some people do...

LOL no. The HK government is enforcing more english education on elemantary and high school students than before, but I question their effectiveness. I can tell you 99% of the senior population knows little to no english, the current working class should know some and could be in some kind of language training, but they are still far from fluent (except those higher-up officials). New graduates should be a bit better, but still no fluent enough unless if their major is english |D If you want to learn good english, HK is definitely not the best place lol. It's slowly improving, though.

They probably got Octopus from the Chinese brand name, which loosely translates to "pass that extends to all directions." xDD;;
Oh, Cafe de Coral! ♥ I love those kinds of fast food restaurants that don't really sell fast foods.

I have a feeling that half of the people who would buy those gold are corrupted officials. *laughs* Man, I could have bought a decent car with that price!

it's really easy to go there;
:DD I haven't seen people wearing weird clothes, unless you mean weird = uncomfortable. I've seen a lot of people in dresses, stockings, stilettos in Ocean Park and Disney. xDDD
