Toaster angels are clearly an important discovery and should be written up in an paper and submitted to learned journals.

I am old and have therefore seen some of Hill Street Blues and I remember it being excellent with the desk sergeant bloke and the knitted-hat wearing bloke and Joyce &Thingy talking in bed at the end of EVERY EPISODE EVER.

Hey, let's be careful out there.

YAY YAY YAY YOU REMEMBER IT. Spiralsheep, it is the best programme ever, I don't understand why there is no fandom, it is gayer than all of Starsky and Hutch and The Professionals put together! Only in a more beautiful and well-written and well-acted way! Do you remember Hill and Renko? DO YOU, HUH? Hill was beautiful and good and clever and a teensy bit repressed, and Renko was voluble and vulnerable and volatile and a bit racist and TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH BOBBY and they cried and shouted at each other and went to therapy over each other (well, Renko did) and referred to each other as "my main squeeze" (well, Renko did) and crazily threatened people who called the other one racist insults (well, Renko did) and they hugged with crying and face-cupping. OH MY GOD. And JD and Neal, do you remember JD and Neal, Neal called JD "babe" and "lover" all the time and JD kissed Neal and OH MY GOD. And Joyce and Frank WIN AT LIFE and the show isn't always great at its woman's lib but at least all the female characters are people and Joyce pwns ( ... )
