Review of without real strings or fish

as I wait patiently for my copy of Shreikback's latest offering to wing its way across the ocean to my address in the frozen north, I excitedly read all I can on the album to heighten the anticipation. Of course there is a danger here in over stimulating the anticipation so that when I receive the package, open it up and throw the disc into the CD player all I end up hearing is Peggy Lee singing "is that all there is?" I don't however, think that will be the case from the teasers I have heard and of course what I know about Shreikback. I am anticipating an aural "fun park" in music and lyric. Seeing how I was in my early 30s when Shreikack first broke out in North America I am hoping that these days are not totally gone and that there are the odd incubus and succubus still standing by. From what I have already heard, I think that to be true

I have no doubt you'll be thrilled with what you hear. And, trust me, there will always be Incubi and Succubi plenty in the vicinity of Shriekback. They're drawn to the band like moths to a flame.
