Surreal

I just feel totally surreal that The Chalice has actually been published. I have 16 copies headed my way for autographing and sending off to others. The one I'm super-frightened about (no big surprise here) is Barry Andrews. Next nervous is Carl Marsh. One of my best friends in high school was Wicca; or he claimed to be, I'm not sure how much of it was legitimate spiritual experience and how much of it was trying to rebel and look cool. I have no idea if he still considers himself Wiccan, but I kind of doubt it. It's super lame, but I think dabbling in Wicca or any other non-mainstream religion but not really believing in it is trendy right now, kind of like making out with other girls but not really being a lesbian is trendy right now. Bleh. I mean, even 'True Blood' has a Wiccan character right now. Really? Really.

P.S. - totally can't wait to get my hands on your book. WHEEEEEEEE!!!!

I am waiting until you go live with Barnes&Noble to order my book, because I want to order it through our store. That way it actually gets store exposure with the inventory people.

Yeah. And Wicca is now listed as a religion in the military (don't remember for how long now).
