Andy just wrote asking me if I wanted to accompany him to a Tears for Fears concert on 27 August. Since I was the one who introduced him to TFF and we've shared a very high opinion of the band for decades, my answer was a resounding and enthusiastic YES! I saw Tears For Fears in a brief outdoor concert they did back in 2003. I've liked them since Songs From the Big Chair was sending singles to the radio, and it didn't hurt my like of them when I realized years later how much Beatles influence is in their music.
And I hope this is true what I heard, that Roland and Chad once took a long break when they decided We could either still be friends or still be a band. Let's still be friends.
