The weather is beautiful here if you like stepping outside onto the surface of Venus. The trees are even drooping, except for the contorted filbert, which is in the shade of the house. There's a cold front supposed to come through in a couple of days, at which time all the plants and houses will start singing that "smile" song they sing in Toon

It's so hot here we've learned how to drive with two fingers.
We've also learned that the seatbelt can be an excellent branding iron when you get in it.
The trees whistle for the dogs
We feed the chickens ice so they don't lay hard boiled eggs

Run outside when you feel the gas starting to move around...toot around the yard for as long as you can stand the heat, then come back into the a/c...the critters and Aunt Tudi will be overwhelmed with gratitude at your thoughtfulness. :o)
