Drought

About two hours ago, we got a call from my aunt, Janice, alerting us that there had been a water main break at the head of the main road off which we dwell. The break is so bad that the road itself was bowed up from the amount of water and pressure. I filled the tub up with water and filled as many jugs and jars as I could lay my hand on. That situation sucks. I everything gets back to normal as soon as possible. Reading your entry made me remember when last February there was also a water break in my upstairs neighbour's appartment. Aprox 5 hours of running water from a broken main pipeline. It was the fucking submarine Apocalypse when I got home from work....
Elements flowing free are devastating.

I lost 200 books and more than 1500 maps. Both my neighbour and I are fully insured, but no money can pay for what is lost.
