Took Aunt Tudi for pre-surgical testing today. They took blood and gave her an EKG. That was fun. They wanted to know what medicines she takes, but she forgot to bring her list. We had a blast trying to remember all of them (there's 14 or so), their strengths and when she took them. But we did it, which was a miracle. She's a 63 year old who's ( Read more... )

"Sssspaccccce Maaaaadnesssssss"!!!!! TEE-HEE!!!!

here, in the swamps, we have a lil' place, just up the road, called "Beaver's Resort". No, it's not the owner's name - it's a nudist resort...and the sign has a huge painting of a cheerful little beaver riding on a a jet-ski...yes ma'am, that's right...

Spork. That last name rules. I always thought I had it bad; my maiden name is Friend. In order to preserve my reputation of evil, I told people that the "r" was added in the late 17th century to fend off witch hunters. I come across some interesting names in my business; among my favorites: Loveless Babies, Jr. (yeah, somewhere this is senior), Valkyrie Cougar Pendragon, Garry Nipple, Michael Assman...oh and Toxey Street. I came across a woman named Erotica too--I just can't remember her last name. I swear these are all real people; you can check public records as all have had court cases in the last five years! :-)

Those names are fantastic. My friend's last name is Pack. I told her she should have more kids with the Pack name. Snack, Jett, Back, etc. She did not agree.

Aww, she's no fun! I would totally do that...of course the kids would write a tell-all Mommie Dearest kinda book when they're older, but that's to be expected because I have such a distaste for children that I'm sure to mistreat them. ;-)

I completely forgot to mention my sister-in-law's maiden name was Blose. I tried to convince her to hyphenate to Blose-Friend. She didn't find that funny at all. Oddly enough, her sister married a guy whose last name is Peters...
