I've written about 500 words today, but I finally got down the tale of Thanatos and Virginia Dare. When I was a kid, Aunt Tudi and Granny ordered me a book from Readers Digest entitled American Folklore and Legend. I NEVER have a xcessmas tree. Instead, I have a xmas telescope (scope with lights n' decorations) - or once a xmas traffic cone.

Verily I haft celebrated.

My $winterholiday tree is plastic and metal and has the lights built in.

I unfold it, plug it in.

Then. Refold it and stuff the shit back in the box.

Were it not for Morgan, I wouldn't bother. She's the only reason the season hits our house.

Patience, darling. Now is not the time. Finish it, polish it, hone it. Love it. Then re-consider, maybe even ask him. (I think you're speaking from writer's hormones at the moment. Directing those anywhere but onto paper usually causes trouble. Take it from someone who knows.)

I hate the smell of pine, whether it be in the forest or in my living room. And don't get me started on artificial pine scented candles, etc.

Plus with my super fantastic allergies, we're always fake tree people. I bought a 3 ft red one at the womens holiday marketplace this year, so it looks hella fake!
