For Sheera

I don't generally do drabbles because they are hard. Seriously, exactly 100 words, no more, no less? I think my Valentine’s S/R drabble only made it under the line because OpenOffice counted Kal-El as two separate words.

But Sheera insists we need more Threshold fic in this world, and I have yet to be able to deny her anything. :)

Berkeley

“I’m so sorry, I can't believe I-” Lucas gingerly attempted shifting again. “I think my coat is trapped...”

“It’s-ow, ow, your elbow!-it’s okay, really.” Nigel, smiling underneath him, gave off only the slightest hint of condescension.

“Oh, God.” Lucas dropped his head onto Nigel’s chest. “I am so sorry.”

Taking pity, Nigel patted the younger man on the back. “It’s okay, really. You know, the same thing happened with me and my lab partner back in Berkeley.”

Lucas’ head snapped up. “Really?”

Nigel nodded, but couldn’t resist adding. “Of course, she was trying to get into my pants.”
