I have been taking Jesus as a means to an end instead of the end goal of having good things and being a good person and etc

Do I think the end goal is a better than Jesus Himself?

Learning to enjoy Jesus as the focus and not the means to whatever I want because Jesus is greater 

You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the Lord forever,
For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.

Pastor Prince likes to say "Those who know they are loved much, love much." And sometimes/ often I wonder if my general dislike for a lot of people/ people/ inability to love even people I know stems from the fact that I don't know that I am loved by the King. I remember when Hannah typed "10k reasons" into the P&W group chat and I really died laughing because srsly they really say "ten thousand" and she just shortened it to 10k and we ended up typing 10k instead of "10,000 Reasons" during that week's worship and I was so happy and it was such a pleasant beautiful sense of camaraderie and I love love ( Read more... )
